Well it's been five years since my July 2011 T3N0M0 diagnosis.  The tumor was located near the trachea and I went through the standard chemo and radiation and was NED in October 2011.  Four months later followed up with 3 1/2 months of weekly Taxol infusions.  No surgery required in my case.  Doesn't get any better than that!

    Congratulations on your five year anniversary!!!! May there be many more!!!! Thanks for posting and giving other survivors on the journey hope and encouragement.

    Just wanted to pass along a quick congratulations and offer thanks for the hope and inspiration you are providing to folks here.  This SOB is nasty, but it can be beaten and everyone who finds themselves on this board should believe that they are the one who is going to beat it.
