Therapist

I was wondering if anyone here has seen a therapist for support? I'm considering it. This latest journey with my spouse with cancer is reminding me of my first wife 5 years ago ( I guess that supports the argument for not marrying soon). The only times it gets to me are the night after her chemotherapy and she lays on the couch for two days sleeping. Same house, same living room, same quiet sense of isolation. Too much deja vu!!! This stinks.

    Oh, yes

Therapists come in many forms: some you pay money and some you share a cup of coffee with.  Both are valid.

By all means, find a good therapist and go.  You should not go through this without support.

I'm sorry you are going through this.  I know how tough it is.

    I'm so sorry

I'm so sorry you are here again David.  I think I have the advantage of not ever having been here.  I can imagine what its like but it really can't compare to the fact tthat you have lived it before day by day.  Please do whatever is necessary to take care of you.  I don't think marrying too soon has anything to do with this.  I try and remind myself there is a reason God has me here to take care of everyone.  I don't know what it is or why but for some reason I'm here.  I have to find a way to make the best of it.  It is an uphill battle trying to find the bright side in daily living.  Keep posting.  We are here for you! :(
