I had to look up Cholinergic Urticaria (Hives brought on by sweating) as I had never heard of it before. 

I do believe that if we are suffering any kind of physical ailment, that it has the possibility of messing with many of our normal blood markers. But that is me just 'thinking'. 

I presume you are suffering from this? A little more information in your post wouild have been helpful.

yes.  This is sort of allergy which I recently encountered.  never had any cancer but suddenly my CEA was shot up from less than 1 to 15.  All my previous CEA was less than 5 normal range so did a lot of test including full PET, MRI, colonoscopy and found no indication of tumor.  

 

So i am thinking 

a) cea is high because there is a very early stage of tumor but just can't detect it yet using normal diagnostic tool.  I heard that CEA result can predict about 6 months BEFORE actual tumor can be detected

or

b) there is no tumor but this allergy is causing elevated CEA 

I had been monitoring CEA level and it goes up and down from 11 to 15 and doesn't show consistently increasing trend.  However the level is high enough such that I think this is definitely abnormal. 

your input and anyone else who has insight on this would be greatly appreciated
