The 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month is when the Armistice was signed ending WWI.  Today, in the States, we celebrate it by remembering ALL Military Veterans on this day.

Please take a moment to pause and reflect - not just on this day but all days.

I want to send out my send my thoughts, thanks and prayers to all who have Served, are Serving and their family who supported and support them still.  I especially want to send my thoughts to my Sisters in USA Uniforms, before and now, ones I know and knew and the so many that I have never met.

    Thank y'all who replied.  I

Thank y'all who replied.  I am surprised at how few did.  Perhaps it was the title I used and they did not know what it meant so didn't read it?

VickySam - my Thanks to your Dad!  I was born an Army Brat (Daddy was pre-Pearl Army) and raised USAF (he went USAF when it was formed).  We spent the time of Korean War in France as he was stationed there. He retired on 26 yrs combined.  I was Army, Hubby is retired Navy.  So I've been, at least, around/involved with military , to some degree, all my life.
