    Thinking of you

We have just begun our fight and don't have our first scan until October. I already can sense scanxiety. I'll be thinking of you and wishing for the best.

    lifting prayers

For peace of mind that comes from knowing whatever the test shows you have what it takes to get through it.

    Hugs.

    Scanxiety

We all know what you mean. It seems we are wired to think negatively when scan time comes around. I'll be praying you have a restful night and good results tomorrow.

It is always in the back of your mind, just hiding.

There is something that once you are told, you have it. Somewhere in the back of your mind the thought is always there. When they took my larynx, and the tumor was inside of it, I know it is all gone. But that thought, or is it, is always there hidding. Was that a lump I felt, or did I see a white spot on my tongue? I know they got it all and my odds of it returning are very slim. So was the odds of getting it in the first place. I did get it so it is always in the back of my mind, way back just ready to have the thought come out.

A few minuts after 9 am you will hear those wondedful words..............NED, and be great until the next scan. You will hear NED on that one as well, but you always think.

Denias you are always in my thoughts and prayers, and will get very good news.

OK home now, had my scan at 8am and at 9:30am the lung onc and radiologist said "scan looks great" listened to my lungs and said "awesome" so thank God that is done. Next up appt with the urologist at Johns Hopkins next week for the prostate, am battling a bad bout of prostatitis, hope they can get rid of it. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Denis

    Compared to women

You men still got it easier. He gave us breasts and a uterus. So there.
