in Colorectal Cancer #1

does anyone know how his son is doing? He mentioned in a message, I think in July, that his son was going to have scans at that time ... I don't believe he has posted since then. Anyone have any information? I was always so touched by how hard he fought to help his son ...

    manwithnoname is no longer on the CSN member list...a member search finds nothing

    I found an old post from him and clicked on his username.  It goes to an error page.

    Phew!

    I just got done reading an old post where Manwithnoname and Winter got into a battle. It was quite the rally, and I don't know who won. 

    And yes, his account has been deleted, so he may have left on his on volition or his son may have passed. I guess we'll never know; which is one of the most frustrating things about this fourm (probably the only frustrating thing). Friends go missing and we don't know if that means they have passed or not. 

    I will always be grateful for you, Marie, for finding Vickilg's obit. It broke my heart, but it was good to know that she was at peace after her long battle.

    Over time things softened ...

    yes ... he had a rocky start on the site due to some confusion about his intentions since he did not have a family member with colorectal cancer ... but I do feel it worked out over time.  Winter Marie was wonderfully feisty and did tussle a bit with Tony.  Her spirit certainly shines through on those old posts.

    But as his intentions became clearer I think he was sincerely respected for his desire to always, always continue to search for treatments that could help his son with his brain cancer. It was both heartbreaking and inspiring.

    I hope if he ever checks back in to the site he will know that there are folks that remember him, wish him the best, and hold him in the light.
