anyone develop psoriasis?

About three years ago, two years post-treatment, we started fighting psoriasis on Jim's face.  It is now spreading to his eye and I'm worried our doctor will finally want to use one of the biologics which have a propensity for making one prone to develop cancer, specifically, lymphoma.   The doctor has been resisting these medications for obvious reasons.

Anyone have any experience?

    One year ago

About one year ago I developed psoriasis on my elbow.  Treated with over the counter cream and it is fine.  3 weeks ago I developed a spot on my face, at hairline.  Over the counter cream not helping.  My husband noticed it and gave me some cream the dermotoligist had given him.I am not aware of cancer issues and psoriasis.

I think I'm getting it now

I am 8 years out from my tonsil, and 1.5 from hypopharnx.  I think I am getting it now.    I will be seeing my primary care doc next week and will ask.

It could also be a yeast infection - or both.

    Isn't psoriasis an auto-immune disease?

i have no experience but wanted to say I will be praying for a better solution to the problem.  we surely don't want to have to take something that puts us at greater risk of more cancer............eeewww.  please let us know how it comes out.

    God bless you both,

    hypopharyngeal

That was Jim's primary and the psoriasis is on the same side.  Worrisome.

It is an auto-immune disorder.  We are heading to the doctor tomorrow.

    psoriasis

My son developed it all over his body at around 20.  He was dianosed with ALL at 3 and a half and was done with chemo at 7 years old. He has tried light treatments which did not help at all. They gave him creams but he doesn't like the residue on his skin. He uses African Black soap and Tea Tree shampoo. Doctors told him the other treatments will cause another cancer. He won't take them until they find one that won't.
