I was in a choir that performed the beautiful song "Linden Lea." I love the way the words sound...so liquid.

You can listen to it here:

    I chose desertgirl, not

I chose desertgirl, not because I live on a desert (live in central NY) now, but I did live for four years in Southern California when I was growing up and have great memories of that time.  Our city was/is located in the Mojave Desert.

    Double Whammy

Because I was diagnosed with both brest and endometrial cancers, 4 days apart.  A double whammy!

I've been twnkltoz for 20 years!

This was my first online user name from 1995. I had started ballroom dancing earlier that year and I came up with a unique spelling to make it mine. I use it everywhere!

    Rague

Rague was one of my APHC mares.   Yes, that was her complete registered name - nothing else added.  The story I got was that as she was 'red' and her Dam's name was Red Tomatoe - she got registered as Rague. (Ragu sauce but with an 'e' as have to have 5 letters (or more).

When computers first started....wayyy back in the early to mid 80s....my email was glowmore and that remains my email to this day.  It is simply a play on my real name which is Gloria Moore...and I was diagnosed in 2002 with Triple Negative IDBC Stage 3B.  On Face Book however I have my Maiden Name and my First Married name in between my first and last name.  I live in Florida now but I have lived all over the United States and once for 2 1/2 years in Mexico when my Husband's company was hired to build Mexico's first nuclear power station in 1980.  I was always healthy and never sick a day in my life ...had two sons...had my tonsils out as a child....but that was it...before being hit by the BC Train at the age of 65.  Thru the Grace of God I am still here.
