I was in a clinical trial with a parp inhibitor but as soon as olaparib became available i switched to it. So far so good! Anyone else start the new parp inhibitor? I'm BRCA 1 so i'm glad i have the opportunity to take the drug. Kim

    Hi Kim

I don't have any experience with a parp inhibitor but I am so glad it is working well for you!  Sending lots of prayers and positive thoughts your way.

    Warmly,

    PARP inhibitor

I am BRCA2 positive and took Olaparib on a clinical trial; it kept my disease stable for 2 years.  Good drug!

So happy it is working for

So happy it is working for you!  Keep us updated.  I, too, am BRCA 1 positive, and this may be a future treatment for me.  Thankfully I don't need it right now (just finished chemo in Oct. for 2nd reoccurance stage IV OC.) It would cost lots of $$$$$ with my Blue Cross medicare plan Frown
