And then the bough breaks

long made short- 2 weeks ago knee hurting, no idea why, got mri, went to ortho, tapped my knee and all they could get was a tsp of blood, can't walk.  My labs are norm for us.  Being sent to hematologist oncologist tomorrow, scared out of my mind.  I can't deal with another cancer, I can barely deal with life- have therapist, no friends or family except my 8 yo.  Anyone else have this happen and it not be cancer? Or any other wisdom and advice greatly appreciated

    Sorry to hear that, but...........

The side effech might not be common but it can happen. I'm one in a milloin to have the cide effect from Demoral, It increases pain. Found out after being on it every four hours for over ten days.

As for kidneys, WALK every day, it will help. My wife has been as low as stage 4 and came back up to stage 3. Stay away of stress, [as if you can now] She is back to one number from going back to stage 4 but she has had this for over 20 years.

    I know that you know

the drill...."it ain't cancer till somebody says it is".  It's a hard drill to do when we have already been bit by the cancer bug.  In this case, tho (and this is coming from the reigning queen of paranoia)....I'd hold off on taking myself down the cancer path until some things have been ruled out.  Joints are touchy, and 2 to 3 hours a day of working out could well do damage.

What I'm learning slowly (very slowly at times)....is most of what happens to me, bone aches, head and ear aches, numbness in my ear, etc etc....the list is long.....are not signs of a new cancer, just signs of things happening as life moves through the day to day....

Hang in there....I'm thinking your 3 hour work outs have more to do with this than cancer.

R, i'm praying for the fear

R, i'm praying for the fear and the pain to subside and for you to start feeling better.  as P said, its not cancer until the doc says it is so try to be positive and keep your head up.  you are not alone, we are here for you any time you need us.  come here anytime you want/need to talk to someone or have a question.  I will be praying for you.

    God bless you,

    Cancer Support Group

I urge you to find a cancer support/surviors group.  It can be a fanstatic resource and help you work through the issues you have and also by helping others at the meetings you will also help yourself.
