Question about Mistletoe

I was just reading about Mistletoe to fight cancer.  Doesn't sound like it's available in the US.  Does anyone know anything about it?

    Mistle Toe from Ash Tree

There are several variations of Mistletoe extract.  The one for colon cancer was from the Ash Tree.  It was not expensive to find an USA made supplement.  I just googled it and found some for about $12 a bottle.

It is supposed to help my immune system. My Oncologists and GP Docs said it can not hurt me, and did not know how much it could help me.  I used it for about 2 years.

    I tried it

Mistletoe doesn't really fight the cancer directly but your bodies response to the mistletoe also fights the cancer.  at least that's the theory.  I went to a naturopath doctor to get mine, then I injected it myself.  For me, I don't think it really helped.  Traci

Short of it making you break

Short of it making you break out in kisses and spreading happiness which also helps cancer, I haven't heard about it.  Curious now and going to look up.

One thing to remember about supplements

is that they can contain literally anything, as they are not regulated by the FDA.  A recent examination of supplements at Target, Wal-Mart and some other major chains found that most of them did not contain any of the substance they claimed was in them.  Instead, they were made up of ground rice, house plants, and other junk.

I have no idea how you find reputable supplements...maybe finding a good naturopath who can help you navigate this approach would be an idea.
