update on me

in Breast Cancer #1

I just got home 2 weeks ago from spending a month in the hospital and 3 weeks in pt rehab center.  My daugther carried me to the hospital due to dehydration and the weakness in my legs (I kept falling),  My oncolgist said that the weakness is coming from the cancer in my lower back and it will probaly get worse.  I am currently walking with a walker and occasiionally using a wheelchair.  While in the hospital they also found a problem with my blood pressure.  So I am on a new medicine for that.  I am very grateful to be home wih my family especially during the holiday.

    Sorry to hear how sick you were.

    But very happy you are home. Is the pain and weakness in the legs due to bone mets?
    Hope you get stronger. I have gone thru periods where I have been in a wheelchair. Now it is a cane most of the time. Hope you begi to get stronger.

    Sounds like you are dealing with a lot......especially since it appears that you have Mets to your back.  What kind of treatments is your Oncologist recommending now?   Did you have any Radiation?  Sending you Prayers for Strength to face the pain and uncertainty.   Glo
