I just wanted to wish all you lovely ladies a wonderful holiday season filled with family, friends and of course great food. This time of year is also when we seem to reflect on the year that has passed…I urge you to pray and/or offer support to those that need it the most.

Again, Happy Holidays…

    Happy Thanksgiving to all and

Happy Thanksgiving to all and may you have an enjoyable and safe day with loved ones!

Please take a moment to remember and Thank  those who are serving far from home and loved ones so that we here can have this day with our loved ones.   Also remember those who love and support them as they serve far from home and homeland.

    May God Bless The USA!

OH BOY AM I FULL **

Had a lovely day today and I hope all of you did too ....and I did the cooking too which usually makes me tired...but this time I just 'played' at the cooking part and warmed a lot of already cooked things in the oven.  Worked just fine and tasted almost as good.   Sending warm thoughts of encouragement to everybody with the Hope that you can let go of the fear and the depression and enjoy a day of Thanks for what we do have and not think of what has happened to us.  We can deal with all that tomorrow.  Meanwhile.....pass the pumpkin pie and whipped cream please.   :)     Love and Hugs,  Glo

Andi -- awwwwe so nice getting an update from you!!

I call the 'fear and depression' - PTSD ..  you have travel a path few will ever know - you have seen things many will never see --  please see if there is a support group, or cancer survivor group in your area - this helped me.

Also,  I stayed here on the ACS board to "play if forward"  .. and this made all the difference in my World.

Just know .. time heals all, and you are such a STRONG Woman - and in time = you too, will grow and emotions do balance out.

Strength Courage, and HOPE for a Cure.

    Vicki Sam...

Love your new picture...I'm an animal lover at heart - as I've never had kids of my own (just the ones with fur)    Has your little bundle of joy been a good baby this year?  Will Santa give him/her special toys & treats?  My little Jack will be extra spoiled this year as he's been my true therapy this year...

    Andi - I have 2 4 legged daughters

Emma who shows up in my photo is never too far from me - she sleeps withy husband and I -- LOL oh well -  Emma never left me for 18 months while I endured TCH - my family would walk upstairs with Her dinners where she ate 2 feet from me - never EVER left my bed or side - when I took a shower Emma sat by the shower door - watched me dry off etc..

If I ventured downstairs she accompanied me - When i travelled for weekly chemo treatments she cried for hours - until I returned home -  sooooo, she is the queen bee - and has earned her title and my eternal love and her throne...

my teen aged son and daughter tired of my look (no hair. Red watery eyes) and body scabs - Emma loved me unconditionally..  That's my angel girl .. Emma Rose

    love her ...

    VickiSam...

Love the story of your 'lil angel-Emma Rose.   Dogs somehow know/sense when we're feeling down/blue - "A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than they love themselves"...I got that in an email that I have hanging on my wall at work – and, I wholeheartedly believe it...

    Happy Holidays,

    Andi

Andi .. I loved your post about your Christmas tree

on the floor ---  I laughed, and laughed until tears flowed =  ahhhh our 4 legged loved ones.   Smart idea to secure your tree -

I am hoping your tree stayed upright this Season.

Merry Christmas to you, and your loved ones - Happy New Year - I wish and pray for health, love, joy and laughter for you in 2015.

    VickiSam...

Thank you for the return holiday wishes...Yes, my tree stood still this year as I'm down to my one and only little Jack Russell - and he doesn't bother with the tree.

And, back at you with a 'healthy' and happy new year... :)

    Andi  :)
