Just a quick visit  to say HI.

Today is 5 years since I was told I had throat cancer, something I wasn't very thankfull for a few days later on Thanksgiving but I didn't have a choice. This coming Thanksgiivng I will be thankfull for still being here and able to watch the Eagles kick the Cowboys azz on my favorite holiday.

The point I really wanted to make is for the ones who are fighting. If your in the midst of battle or at the end and ready to start the healing process, it's all worth it. Today I start to relive my battle of 5 years ago and it seems like yesterday. Time flies by as it will during your fight and some day you will look back and say that abi-normal Jeff was right (I had to steal John's terminology)

Fight on Heal on Live on

I don't know if I ever told you, you were my hope and my quide in battle. You were the only one, at that time, fighting the removal of your epiglottis...thank you for all the wisdom you posted...5 years, wow..that's so wonderful, I am chugging along behind you at 3 years, 20 days....take care!

    thanks for Jeff

    Jeff,

Yous sounds real smart and what’s with John and the summin, summin, are the rest of us invited.  For me it is 3y11d since “felt a lump” day, I am endlessly thankful for still kicking and think kindly of H&N members, who share openly and honestly (cancer is an eye opener).

Enjoy the turkey, enjoy the game, enjoy summin, summin, enjoy what you have.
