Mom passed

in Ovarian Cancer #1

Thank you everyone for your kind wishes and support.  My mother regretfully passed early yesterday morning after 7 days in a drug induced coma.  I tried writting more about the hospital that I will never return to and the hospice I believe hastened her deparature from this world dispite her express wishes; but as I was writting I realized I wasn't making much sense.  I'm just not rested enough yet to write coherently.  Once I am physically and emotionally recovered enough from this past 4 week ordieal I will post more.  All I will say right now because I believe everybody should know this; wheter you are a patient or careprovider is that you know you or your loved one best and if you think the doctors or nurses are not listening and just shoe horning their patient into the mold they think they should be in then you need to say "Stop" and find something you are all comfortable with. Thank you again for all your support and I will try to post as soon as I can.

    I know you did all you could.  It is really too soon to say this but I do hope with time that the bad memories will fade and you will find comfort in the good ones.  Take care and come back soon.

    I know how much you struggled on behalf of your mom. I trust you have a lifetime of happy memories to soften your pain. There is nothing that compares to the passing of one's mother, and I am so, so sorry. Take care.

    I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your mom. It is always such a tragedy when we have to say goodbye to our loved ones. My thoughts and prayers are with you as you travel this new road, and I pray for God to give you strength and courage as you go forward.

    Thinking of you at this very difficult time it is heartbreaking losing your mum , you fought so hard to give her the best care and she knew that , my best wishes are with you and your family . Jue
