Jim's birthday coming up and more good news for mom

Jim's birthday will be here Sunday. Not sure how this will effect me. I thought 4th would benothing because we really didn't do much on that holiday, but it was very hard. The most we did for Jim's birthday was have a nice dinner out but maybe that will be hard too. I have an appointment tomorrow with the grief councelor to prepare for the day.

As for mom, good news. Originally they thought they would have to remove part of her lung, even though the tumor in her lung was benign. It is blocking an air passage and rubbing a blood vessel causing bleeding. The surgeon told us today that she is an unusual case and he presented it to the board who all agreed they should laser remove the tumor through bronchial scope. The believe the area behind it is not anything more than where the lung colapsed do to not getting air. The scope will be able to tell once the tumor is removed. If it is not a lung colapse they will biopsy that area. He was pretty sure it was just colapsed. Please keep her in prayer and thanks for the prayers thus far. They are working.

    It's good news on your Mother, though surgery of any kind stinks.  But it's amazing what they can do now a days.  For you my dear, I'm keeping you also in my prayers.  I'm so glad you connected with someone to talk things through with.  Keep us updated on Mom, and remember we really do care about you !  Hugs sent my friend !   Katie

    I wish you all the best in dealing with your lost. I have made a living will for my Wife and children to follow so that they know what my wishers are for them to carry out. The only thing I want them to remember about me is my faith in the God I believe in. I hope and pray that they will see all beauty and goodness that I have seen in following God and His word all my life. Elisha once said to the LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, Lord that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha. Gods angles are all around us every day to help, protect and give confront in our times of need.

     

     

    I am happy to hear the news about your mom and will continue to keep praying for her.

    Deb, i'm sure Jim's bday will be hard on you so try to plan something now to keep you busy on Sunday.  the less time you have to think, the easier it will be.  good news on your mom.  so glad they don't have to do the major surgery.  keeping you both in my prayers.  if you want to talk sunday, come here or if you want, pm me on fb.
