Complimentary therapy

I All, back at work Monday. Just had a week at a treatment / therapy centre. Lots of conventional gym work etc but also tried some complimentary such as Reiki. Given my cynicism was very impressed - relaxing and boosted energy. Hot stone massage good also. Any other recomendations. To be clear I am not advocating anything to replace mainstream treatments. Covered...

Are these post therapies covered by the government over there or do you have to pay for them? Just curious...I'm in Canada so we have universal health care also but these extra therapies wouldn't be covered...also wanted to know if the Reiki really helped you out in a minimal or substantial way...

    luxury!

The treatments were through my employer. Um in UK and I don't think Id get them on NHS! (although it is great for actual treatment). Trained in gym / look all week as well as a bit of mountain biking to fine tune fitness for work tomorrow. Just been on Liverpool Zip Wire to test my bottle! Seriously though I was very impressed with. Reiki.

    Hi Guzzle

Seems your progressing well. I had P.T and masages but not at the spa with hot stones.

    Heal on

    Hey Guzzle !

I have to agree, anything in unison with mainstream medicine that helps us body and spirit is the right thing to do.  I am so glad to hear you're doing well.  I use scent therapy and music to help me through crappy days.  And also do some journaling.   Hugs !  Katie

    Buff!

Don, I am buff! Threw myself off Liverpool zip wire Saturday! I was glad to get to work as I get to tell people what to do. At home I get told what to do! If I could just get rid of my saggy chin (massage booked tomorrow). Just booked tickets for Robert Plant November. He us playing US first Sept / Oct (LA nearest to you Don). Highly recommended. I got tickets for the show at Blackpool tower ballroom which if you google it is an amazing intimate venue. Nearest thing you will get to seeing led zeppelin. Regards. Gary

    Warning! Warning!

Loud noise really hurts me post radiation.  Maybe where I was radiated, I don't know.  Take ear plugs just in case.

    Folky

Robert Plant has gone all folky/country. So not as loud as Zep days. Done a great bluegrass album with Alison Krauss a few years ago. Raising Sand. I digress, thanks!

    Great album

Always loves Alison Krauss, and can't say enough about Robret Plant. Rich woman is my favorite song.
