Discomfort around Port site

Has anyone experienced discomfort near their port site many months after it was removed?  I had mine removed last August and within the past month or two I've been having discomfort (not pain), no lumps, just an odd feeling that seems to move around on side where the port was.  Sometimes the feeling is above my breast, sometimes on the breast, sometimes closer to the collarbone. Could it be a pulled muscle or scar tissue?  I just had a mamo and it came back clear.

I have never experienced this, so can't be of much help.  The only thing I ever had was itching sometimes during the first year or so.  I doubt that anything is serious, but the next time you see your doctor, bring it to his/her attention.  I hope all else is well with you.

    Thanks for responding, Martha

I have a feeling it may have something to do with menopause and plan on making an appt. at the end of the month if it's still bothering me.  One thing this diagnosis has taught me is to not procratinate getthing things checked out.  On the other hand, this diagnosis has also make me paranoid about every ache and pain.

Otherwise, I doing well.  Thanks for asking.

    We understand

Most of us here get concerned about every pain we have. I have never seen so many doctors in my life. I follow up on every doctor's recommendation. It is paying off.

So complain away! I believe most if not all of us completely understand.

    Sincerely,

    Sandy
