Docs app't result

At last found why I am so tired and breathless, it was the thyroid under active. The doc was smiling when I went in so I knew he had found something. he said it jumped out of the screen at him. I've been put on a low dose of Levothyroxine, he said I should respond quite quickly. I do hope so because I've felt so listless and tired for months. The heart was ok and no anemia. Thanks to those who suggested getting a thyroid blood test.

    Yeah!!

I love it when it's something simple and common amongst us HNC survivors.  I can always tell when my thyroid needs an adjustment.....I start dragging my tail around, and having to force myself to do my normal stuff.  Not to mention, I can't grow fingernails when my thryroid is low.

One little pill everyday for a week or so, and you're going to start noticing improvements.

So glad to hear that! I'm

So glad to hear that! I'm going through the same thing. I was put on the lowest dose of thyroid hormone, and I'm supposed to go back for a blood test in a month. I suspect the dosage is still too low because I slept most of the day yesterday and am still super tired. It's a small price to pay, though, and something very correctable and easy to live with once corrected. :-)
