Arthritis and bone pain much worse

in Breast Cancer #1

After Taxatere and Cytoxan and going on Arimidex my joint and bone pain has significantly increased. After 6 months I have had my first hand surgery with bone removal and a 2nd surgery for my other hand coming up.  I also have bad pain in the tops of my feet where there are more bones than muscle, my ankles. left knee, hips and mid and lower back.

Anyone else have these issues?

    Jeeze...I am so sorry to hear of all your pain crap. I can so relate! Have you seen a pain management doctor? I love mine.

    I am sad to hear of all your surgeries. Lots of us have more than our fair share of them,too, so you know we understand.

    Sorry to hear it, however many have had bone and joins pain. I am sorry to hear that your bones have been taking out. I am not sure If I understood your surgery correctely.

    I have had a difficult time with Arimidex, including hand pain and osteoarthritis. Talk to you doctor, who might swith you to a different anti-estrogen blocker.

    I have arthrisis with both

    I have arthrisis with both hands badly-and started real painful while on Tamoxifen-I never considerd one had to do with the other. I have had surgery on both hands yeara ago and now wee a Arthrisitis dr and he just said take pain/aniti-inflammotory meds.

     

    wonder if connected to the meds? I stopped taking tamoxfin Last Aug 2013...
