Hi everyone, Today I got diagnosed with DCIS breast cancer after 5 years and 4 months free and dancing with N.E.D.  Bugger.... talk about false hope eh?

    Jeeze, I am so disappointed to hear of your DCIS coming back. I got diagnosed in Decemember 2010 and had a bmx with no reconstrcution on 1/11/1. At least it is DCIS and not invasive, right? Not like that is so much of a comforting thought. Hearing you have cancer sucks period.

    Hope you have an easy time figuring out your treatment plan and an easy time going through the treatments.

    I wish you all the best. Sorry you had to come back...But welcome anyway.

    Tasha,

    You couldn't just come back for a visit and an update and to bring your wicked sense of humor to us all.  No, you had to come back with this crappy news.  I am so sorry that after all this time you are again facing the beast.  Well, you know we will all be here for you and I know you are a fighter.  Let us know what the treatment plan is and know we are here for you to vent, complain, and give our best advice and comfort.

    Again I am so happy to hear from you just not glad to hear this from you.

    Tasha~sad news for sure~ I have been thinking of you, and wondering what you have been doing. Your sense of humor always made me smile. Crap is right! Dang that beast for showing up again! I've been there for a second run~ but I won! Hang with us, and let us love on you, keep you encouraged, maybe even we can make you giggle and smile.....

    Very sorry your cancer is back.I'm going into my 4th year after dx.I Couldn't wait till my 5th year.So many times you hear you're over the hump.I had some thought about this and I believe nothiing is a sure thing.Now with yours back in the 5th  year, I'm more apprehensive with my 5th year coming up.Will be  just over a year.

    My cancer was DCIS non invasive Stage 0.Happy with that dx but still I have apprhensions.

    Wish you the best on what the plans will be for the recurrance.

    I remember you too!  I couldn't get on this site for ages, drove me nuts.  wondered if I had been banned for 'The Picture' incident   LOL.  Yep, you are stuck with me again.. as for what I have been doing well;  I am now driving a horse and carriage for a wedding company as well as breaking in driving horses and of course, doing crazy stuff in the garden (Them neighbours are going to FREAK)  should see what I have planned for this summer.. OMG, we are seriously going to have to move after this lmao!

    Hi Hun, just got appt with a really great FEMALE onc.. (Nothing like Dr Charisma-Bypass) lol.  early morn on wed 12th.  Will hopefully know a lot more after that... Cancer sucks!  Hugs Jxxxxxxxx (Tash)

    Hi, sorry to make you more nervous.  I hope you are fine, I have known a lot of people who are 12 - 20 years out.  Guess I am just unlucky.. Hugs J

    Hi Tasha, the chatroom really doesn't get busy until after 8:30 CST maybe 9 pm CST. During the day there is hardly anyone in there anymore. I would rather chat during the day. By the time the others get in the chatroom it is getting close for my time to be off the computer. Hope to see you in there.
