Round One Kicked My Butt, But I Am Gearing Up for Round Two

Still feeling fragile-lots of nausea, fatigue, mouth sores, weakness.  Getting daily neupogen shots since that WBC nadir of 0.5.

But I got the Sancuso patch today and thrush is going away.  Determined to pick myself up for the next round (May 23rd).  The oncall onc at the hospital thought nausea would improve as liver lesions "melt away."  I was battling nausea before chemo.

Anyway, I like the sound of lesions melting away and will continue to fight, fight, fight!!!!

Sorry to hear about the first

Sorry to hear about the first treatment being rough.  Mine was too.  Biggest advice is make sure you take all meds and drink LOTS of water.

    Your Sounding Better!

Glad that one of the side effects is going away and not doubt your WBC will get better.  Then for the nausea.  I have my 3rd cycle on the 22nd, see oncologist on the 21st.

Wishing you feel better soon.  My fatigue is improving and finally feel comfortable about driving again.

    Hugs but gentle one,

    Doris

Positive thoughts, prayers and hope that you recover quickly. Continue the faith and walk if you can, with your head held high.  WARRIOR go forth, and conquer.
