Clinical trial

My husbands oncologist has decided to stop his chemo due to progression of mets to liver, lung and peritumium. We were put forward for a clinical trial at Christies in Manchester. Keeping our fingers crossed. Love to all take care.

Do you have any details about

Do you have any details about the clinical trial yet??      I've been switched to Folfox now.   After two years of folfiri oncologist  saw some progression so switched me.   Not happy, I tolerated folfiri really well,  definitely more side effects with the folfox.     Onc. has recommended I go to get tumor sample testing which is part of a clinical trial....I guess I'll go from there and see what they say .....   Keep us posted on how he's doing on this.

I don't know if you visit the colon club forum at all,  but there is a thread on there with clinical trials (U.S.) mostly that folks are taking part in.  Very interesting.  There is one woman who is doing a immunotherapy trial who is having success with that,  and from what she's written minimal side effects and shrinkage of tumors.    Wonder if they have something like that in your part of the world??     Hoping for much success for the two of you Laughing
