ports!

My port may be infected.

Can someone please tell me if I have my port removed, how soon can I have another one put back in?

    Hi lindatyler! If your port is really infected, they may try medicine to control the infection without removal. But if they do remove it, I believe it shouldn't take long to replace it once the infection has gone down. 

    But of course, this is something only your doctor can tell you!
