spindle cell squamous (sarcomatoid) carcinoma

My sister 34 was just diagnosed with spindle cell squamous sarcomatoid carcinoma after a dentist apt for what we thought was an ulcer.  If anyone has information on specialist please post.

    Hi Anita

Although this cancer is an unusual presentation, it its pronunciation is a mouthful, it is still a squamous carcinoma of the mouth.    It will be worked up and treated exactly like the cancers that are simply called squamous carcinoma.  The starting place is with an ENT oncologist.  I don't know where you live, but if you'll post details I'm sure people  are here who who comment on specialist selection, if that is your question.

best to you and your sister.
