    Back to work

I wish I could say something witty and upbeat... In reality I think I made a mistake and should have stayed on disability longer.

My back is killing me; it's hard to sit in one position or stand for longer than a few minutes.

I am having trouble concentrating and remembering. When it happens at work, I joke around, call it "a senior moment" or "chemo brain".

They tolerate it for now, but I don't know for how long till they get tired of it and fire my ****. And when that happens, I will loose my group medical and drug insurance.

Well if they fire your ****

Well if they fire your **** for a disability  then you can sue their ****...  I finished  chemo the end of June and had July and August to rest up and went back to work when school started.  I too have a hard time sitting for long periods of time and get up and walk and move around.  I am forgetful sometimes but the nurses I work with are good about it.  It isn't all the time.  One time I drew a total blank on a students name and I have known her for 3 years...  We all got a good laugh about that. My brain is getting better as time goes on but I find a write alot of stuff down....  It will get better but it is going to take us some time.

Take it one day at a time.
