My husband watches the show with me too, and, he didn't use to like it, but, he actually enjoys it now.  We sit there making fun of the bad ones and cheering on the good ones together.  lol

On the last one, we even started betting who would be eliminated.  I won most of the time! 

Maybe Kellie Pickler will be a good dancer.  I like Dorothy Hamill, also.  We'll give you our feedback soon, Susie!  Linda

You're right Megan!  I must have googled an old announcement as Sean wasn't on there.  When I googled it again, thank goodness for google lol ) it said he was a last minute choice.  I didn't care for him either and I didn't think he was that good looking.  The bachelorette should be good, it is Desi!

My hubby is bringing home a pizza and salad for us tonight, so, I don't even have to cook.  Just eat and enjoy the show!  Love that man!

Oh yea, I wouldn't miss the show!  My hubby would love too, but, I FORCE him to sit right next to me and watch it.  I think secretly he likes it too, but, it's hard to get a MAN to admit to it.  hehe

After tonight's show, I'll let you know my favorites.

I hope they are all good dancers too Carol, but, there usually is at least one kind of bad one.  Those are the ones that are really nice to watch as they improve every week.  Well, some do.  That Kate Goslyn or however her name is spelled never did.

A couple more hours and it is showtime!  LOL

Kylez, my favorites are usually the ones who are just so happy to be on the show, learning to dance from a dance professional.  

I think about folks like Florence Henderson and Gladys Knight -- they weren't good dancers at all, but they loved dancing, worked hard, treated their partners with respect, and came out there every week with a smile, and it was a joy to watch them because of it.

What a great night of dancing!  My favorites so far are Derek and Kellie!  They deserved higher than 7's.  They should have gotten at least 8's.  She danced like a pro.  And, I always love Derek! 

I would say get rid of DL.  He was awful and I don't think he will improve much, but, we will see.

The Disney young girl was good too and her and Val made a good team and I did like their dance, even though, I am not a fan of contemporary.

I thought Kellie and Derek danced really well together, and that 16 year old sure showed a lot of confidence.  Sean was fun to watch, even with a lack of rythem.  I got sidetracked in the middle of it and ended up going to the grocery store and missed the whole second half!  lol

I really love that you created this post for the show.  I love it too!  What did you think of the football player?  I can't think of his name but he could sure move his stuff. 

Sean didn't seem to be able to move the top portion of his body.  Guess it's because of all of his muscles.

I also loved watching Dorothy Hamill.  She flowed like she was on ice w/out skates.  Her mention of bc definitely caught my attention.  Her emotion talking about it just brought it all home for me.  Linda

THE GOOD:

I was shocked by how good Kellie Pickler was, and what a gorgeous couple she and Derek are together....I'm still Team Dorothy, but I think Kelie and Derek may be the ones to watch!

THE BAD:

Contemporary is NOT a ballroom dance style!!!  I love all forms of dance, but I watch Dancing with the Stars to see BALLROOM DANCING!  I'm cringing in anticipation of what other "new dance styles" are coming.

THE UGLY:

The "bellhop" who had to carry that British diva's mini-dog around all night is Sasha Farber, a champion Latin dancer in Australia, and pro on Dancing with the Stars Australia.  I think poor Sasha should just hand in his letter of resignation and get on the next plane back to Australia where they appreciate him, if this is his new job now.
