2 years post treatment. Diagnosed stage iv anal cancer.

All of my scans for two years have been clear. Three weeks ago I started having pain, much like the pain I had when I was originally diagnosed. I have a scan coming this week. My doc says the pain is "worrisome" she also said it's possible that scar tissue from the radiation I had is causing it. I've been searching for survivor stories with the same diagnosis - they're hard to find.

It's been hard to find people to talk to period. I suppose that's partly due to the stigma associated with anal cancer. So, here I am, stepping out.

How are you??
