Do any/all of you have a persistent violent cough? Sometimes with mucous...sometimes without. Does it ever go away? Is there anything you have found useful? |

Many people in our forum have reported a cough and mucus accumulation after receiving radiation therapy. Some people have suggested that Mucinex helps with the mucus accumulation. I had an ongoing cough for about a month after my Ivor Lewis surgery that resolved after some time.
