My Big C history (and other things)

For what it's worrth.  Much less traumatic than many of you on here.

Diagnosed with prostate C in 2000.  Had operation to remove it and then radiation for 7 weeks.  PSA went don to a quiet rumble till 2011 when started rising again.  Now on hormone treatment 4x a year.  PSA now negligible again.

Had DVT's 2001 and a heart attack in mid 2012.  Not stopping doing things though, have been to UK three times and other places over that period and going to SE Asia shortly.  To hell with the C!!!

I like the Eric Idle song "Always look on the bright side of life" from the show Spamelot.  Well worth going to see if you like wacky funny shows!!  Saw that one in NYC some years ago.

I live in New Zealand so everything is a long way away.  Love travelling.

All my best to everyone out there who is beset by the C thing.  And to your families who often have it tougher than you ever think.
