<*** src="/sites/all/libraries/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/***/smiley-cry****" alt="Cry" title="Cry" border="0" />Hi,  I went through chemo and radiation during my treatments for breast cancer in 2011. Then in 2012 I was pretty sick with infections from reconstruction that had gone wrong. I felt so tired so during that time I had no interest in having sex. My husband is very loving and did not have a problem about it. Now that that is all over with, and we want to have sex, I can not because the pain is so extreme when he even tries to put his penis in. It is as though my vagina has strunk to a very small size or something. Anyways, asked my genogologist what I could do about it, she had prescribed a Eulong ring to help to mosterize the area' It still hurts really bad when I tried with that. Now she as given me some cream to take too. My question is has anyone else here gone though this?  If so, what helped you? I feel so bad for my husband, for I know he needs sex, yet he has been so wonderful and does not want to hurt me. I sure hope that there is some type of cure for the pain. Maybe the cream will help. I sure hope so. <*** src="/sites/all/libraries/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/***/smiley-cry****" alt="Cry" title="Cry" border="0" />

Adding a lubricant may help, but I don't have great suggestions about how to solve your issue.  <*** src="/sites/all/libraries/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/***/smiley-frown****" alt="Frown" title="Frown" border="0" /> Not wanting to get into TMI, I think many women have this problem as they age.  At the risk of sounding like Dr. Ruth, don't forget that vaginal intercourse is not the only way to have a satisfying sexual relationship.

I used a product called "Estring" recommended by my gynecologist and approved by my oncologist.  It was a prescription and worked very well.  It was a vaginal ring inserted for 3 months, before a new one needed.  I am ER+ and the ring means estrogen ring.  It gives lubrication where it is needed.

Wishing you the best,

Doris

breastcancer.org has a huge discussion about this. one of the topics is called, "I want my MOJO back." They have info about something called scream cream.

Yup, I believe that is what they call it. I don't know the ingredients. As always for us, we need to check with our dr.s to see what is safe for us to use.

I remember that tread of "I want my MOJO back" and I remember the scream cream too.  Don't know what is in it either?
