Low platelets

Has anyone had severe low platelets? My dad is in hospital for GI bleed from low platelets. Even though they have given him platelets, they can't keep his platelet count up. |

No Rondoo, I have not, but, maybe someone else here has and can offer you some help. I hope your Dad is better very soon.
