My beloved mum

My mum was diagnosed with Neuro endrocrine small cell carcinoma in 2005 - I was pregnant with my first child - her first grand child. She had 18inches of her bowel removed followed by aggressive chemotherapy. Until now she has been fine. Tonight she was told that she has secondary cancer in her liver - two large tumors which won't be operated on. I can't even put into words how devastated I am. My mum is 64. She is due to have biopsies on them. I live in hope/ denial that she can still live with this cancer for many years. I love my mum. I feel for all of you out there fighting your own battles with this disease. If anyone as a positive story I would appreciate hearing it. We live in Australia.
