I'm also on chemo for my first recurrence. I had Avastin last year with carbo/taxol. I took Avastin for several months as maintenance. During the first line I had some nose bleeds from the Avistin. The biggest problem with it were body aches. But those too were not unbearable. But I think you'll do fine with it.

Best wishes.

Carla

I don't have any experience with avastin but wanted you to know that I'm praying that you get good results with minimal side effects.

Take care,

Kelly

this is my third time on it and for me the side effects are not bad, runny nose, some nose bleeds and body aches. Others are not so lucky it is a crap shoot but have not heard so many with really bad effects. Oh and I forgot a rise in blood pressure which probably explains the nose bleeds.
Good Luck
