Hi All,
I usually post on bereavement but my gut just told me to post this one here for Stage IV.

Somewhere in the pain, its been a beautiful day. Sharing to you all, keep trying , keep moving forward there are good days.

13 Months ago, 100 years ago, yesterday, I lost my soul mate to EC.

One of our to dos was to re-take our wedding picture on our 25th anniversary and finally do an album. One of many items we promised to complete no matter what.

So this morning, after much dieting, fixing the dress, lots of help from my parish friends. We went to the club where we got married.

Dressed and ready we headed outside and took many wonderful pictures, laughter, stories of when we all got married, stories of when our children would marry.

To adapt we took pictures with both wedding rings on my finger. Which I have been wearing for awhile now. Irish symbol of love around my neck which he gave me.

Touches of sunlight hitting at just the right time, we'll give him credit for those.

It has been a beautful day, as strong as the painful days are we need to hold onto the good days just as tight.

U2- "It was a beautiful day
Don't let it get away
Beautiful day

Touch me
Reach me
I know I'm not a hopeless case

What you don't know you can feel it somehow "

I lost my soul mate, my love, my life, my every breath just 5 months ago. And like you, it feels like yesterday and yet it seems like 100 years ago. So far away and yet the pain, the hurt and the memories - yesterday.

What a wondeful idea to continue with your plans for the creation of the 25th anniversary photos. Like you, I wear my Nick's ring on a necklace. If I'm forced to remove the necklace for any reason, his ring goes onto my finger. I will not, cannot be without.

Thoughts, prayers, {hugs} and hopes of strength and peace to you.

Terry
