I hope everyone in the path has made it through Sandy safe. In the part of northern NJ I am
in we made it safe and kept power and phone. I pray everyone else is safe and sound
good to hear! I am in NYS we only had a bit of storm-near by towns got hit bad. (my hubby works for cablevision so I won't be seeing much of him in near future)
Here in southcentral PA we were very lucky. However, my son in Westfield, NJ, was hit really hard. No power, no gas, huge tree took out neighbor's house and son's car. We are driving to NJ tomorrow to bring them to our house until they get power back (they heard it may be another week).
We may have company from the city until their power is back . Hubby has been asked to join relief teams. I know he'll go, we're about 4 hours from NY/NJ.
