Haven't posted for awhile. Got treatment last Tuesday and it has been really rough. Since Friday had vomiting and diaria. I thought I could fight it but just got to weak. Wife talked me into going to eER and got admitted. Had an infection but think they are slowly getting under control. Pray I get strong...have to go and rest now. Jeff

I also spent time in the hospital with a GI opportunistic infection while doing the neoadjuvant chemo and radiation. Here's to all clearing up soon!

all the best, Leslie

Having just done a long stint 'inside' I know how tough staying in hospital can be. However, it sounds like it was the right decision and a necessary place for you to be for a short stay to get things back n track. It is often useful as a place to get all the issues sorted and hopefully you leave feeling stronger and with a clear plan forward,

Sending good thoughts and prayers your way!

Take care of yourself during chemo. It is really easy to get out of balance and dehydrated. Everyone taking chemo needs to hydrate and eat anything that will allow you to keep food down or with out passing quickly.

Prayers for a short hospital stay that results in renewed strength and a plan moving forward. Hospitals aren't fun but they can be the best choice. Feel better and take good care of you.

Onc says will be in here at least 2-3days which is good with me. Still having the trots and only trying to eat liquids. Another big problem is wbc is only 1.0 and you all know that is too low. Pray everything improves. Jeff

Sounds like you are where you need to be as those issues get resolved. Keep those fluids coming and hope that white count starts moving upward. Healing light to you.

and hope that you get back on your feet and out of there soon. Sometimes the hospital is where we have to be, but it's not exactly a pleasant atmosphere. Get some rest, if you can, and keep us posted. We're rooting for you to get better and get home! Ann Alexandria

I personally am not a fan of hospitals. It sounds like your wife made the right call and that you are in the right place as you mend. Blessings of healing and comfort...Try to patiently rest so the medicine can heal and the body can recuperate.

I'm sorry you had this setback and hope you are on the mend and feeling better. Have you had the Sancuso patch? It really worked for my daughter's nausea. Take care and rest up and get better - will pray for that for you.
