Well, I am certainly no saint; not even angelic, though I am a Catholic nun. I never thought I would reveal that on the board because I want to be free to grapple with God and faith on this cancer journey. To question, doubt, get angry, give up, and hope all at the same time. I have great respect for people of all faith traditions and people of no faith tradition. We are all in this together. For some reason, the fun posts around names led me to want to be more revealing to this group I have come to trust and rely on. I will stop before this belongs on spirituality forum which is not my intention.
Thanks to all of you for sharing so much about yourselves.
dearest Cathleen Mary..thank you for your post. It is often very hard to reveal yourself on a forum. I respect your courage and love to know more about YOU.....
thank all of you for the posts! this is why i love this board! WE CAN HAVE FUN!!!
hugs to all
judy ( really judith so i do have a Bible name too. but not Catholic)
A beautiful name for a beautiful soul. I do not believe in prayer much for myself, but you can bet I say a tiny prayer for my daughter each night. I feel each of us must choose our own path.
Thanks for sharing...been struggling with my Catholic faith...feel like we are being punished sometimes and I don't understand why. Good to hear a nun share and understand. Think I read another post that you were in MA? Wonder if you ever get to CT retreats and if you know our friend Sister T?

Both of your names sound so much like Catholic saints. Both of you must be very angelic :)
