My niece, Tosha (35 yrs old) discovered a lump in one of her breasts.
It has since decreased in size but she has an appointment to have
it checked out today.
So, just asking for your positive thoughts and prayers for her.
All my best to your niece Jim, I sure hope everything's ok. How are you? I know these things can get us lathered up a bit so rinse off and have some of those free positive thoughts a wise man told me about ;).
LOL, thanks Aaron and you're right ;). I'm doing pretty well.
I still get tired and nap through out the day. I've been a little under
the weather since yesterday - just achey and tired - could be allergies.
Outside of that, doing pretty well here.
Tosha's a wonderful person - bless her heart, she home schools 3 children ranging in
age from 4 to 14. The 4 year old is very bright but can be a handful. She's
the "wild child" ;) - maybe that's why I like her so much (course I love 'em all).
I can relate to the wild child thing, my daughter just started kindegarden last week. It's must have looked weird seeing a 5 year old girl consoling her father at the classroom door instead of the other way around " it's ok dad, don't cry I'll be fine I promise" that's what she said to me verbatim. So even the wild ones have their moments. Hope you feel better soon Jim
Children can be quite amazing at times. That is such a sweet story
that you will always hold in your heart, Aaron. Now, fast forward to the
first time she takes the car out ... LOL ;).
Jim,
I wish your niece all the luck in the world and will be thinking of her. She is such a pretty lady too. You have a great looking family there. I know once we are touched by this curse we have a tendency to think in the negative. We can say we don't,but you know we do.Fingers crossed here !!!
BTW: Aaron
Jim can say he is achy and tired and a little under the weather all he wants. The truth is he's just a nasty and grumpy old timer.Thats just the excuse they all use......LOL Soapbox John
Regarding the kindergarten experience you described: My daughter moved into her college dorm two weeks ago for her freshman year. I can hardly bear it !
Hi jim,
Prayers coming from me for your niece. I'm going through a situation right now with my 86 year old aunt....looks like her cancer is back and not much to be done at this stage. Keep positive thoughts...Sue
I hope you are feeling better. I know you have had a rough time of it.
They are a beautiful and good family with very strong faith.
I have many fond memories of playing with her as a child and telling
her stories I would make up. I've gotten to do some of that with
her children and it has been a blessing to me. They like their big silly
uncle (actually great uncle - wince) :).
Please post and let us know how you're doing when you get a chance
and feel up to it.
Sorry it has taken me a bit to get to this post- having the after chemo icks this week. I'm sorry your niece is going thru this- what a worry. But it sounds like her doctor is ON IT and that's just great. Will be praying for her and her family during this time of testing. It can be so difficult with all the waiting, as we well know.
Hi Donna and thank you.
I think she's handling it pretty well. We know the odds
are probably in her favor as Cathy stated but that doesn't change
the fear. I think she's handling it pretty well considering.
Of course, she's got three kids to keep her distracted ;).

LOL, John ☺ and thank you.
Well, I can remember when I thought 30 was old. Gosh, where did all that
time go? Whoever said youth was wasted on the young was so right ;).

I just heard from my niece.
Her regular doctor confirmed there is something there.
They scheduled mamogram and ultrasound for this coming
Monday.
Keep her in your thoughts. More than likely she won't get
complete results on Monday.
I posted a picture of them on my expressions:

Stunning family Jim.
Statistics are on her side for a benign result. I hope this is the case.

Hi Jim
I am so sorry to read about your niece. She must be so scared.
They are a beautiful family.
Hopefully she will have a general idea on Monday after the tests, as to what will be the next if any tx.
I will be praying for a positive outcome.
Extra hugs for you
