I got Pathology report back today. It was renal cell stage 1 grade 2. Which is wonderful. Scan in 6 months. I am very happy tonight to report this to you. I would say more but still with nausea. That will get better too. Thanks

Sue,

I would say you deserve a vacation. A few weeks after my surgery in August, 2002 my wife booked us on a Carrabean Cruise in early 2003. Our 11th annual Carribean Survival cruise is coming up in February 2013.

That is wonderful you went on a cruise after having surgery. I am looking forward to going to panama city beach in April. We usually go in April And October but have missed both times this due to illness. 2013 i hope is a better year. LOL

Hi Sue,

That's great news!!! Sounds like you better make plans to be around for a few more decades and don't be afraid to hang out here and help with the newbies.

Congratulations,

Gary

I battled nausea and vomiting as well. The doctor had me get lactobacillia (sp?) from the pharmacy. It helps to restore the good bacteria in your digestive system. Check with your doctor to see if this will help you. It does not require a prescription, but is usually kept in a refrigerator in the pharmacy. I helped me a lot!

Feel better,
Cheryl

Thats great to hear Brea, I am about to start my journey, go to see anaethetist on Tuesday, so it would appear that surgery is not too far away. Hope my path lab results are as good as yours. Good luck in your recovery.

Sue,

I hope you are feeling better than you were a couple of days ago. It takes quite a while to get over all of the effects. Just hang in there.

and Mickf,

Should we call you Mick? Welcome to the group. I am so glad you found us early in your journey. There is a wealth of knowledge and, more importantly, empathy for each other here. Keep us posted on your progress and let us know if you have any questions. There is likely somebody in the group that has been there before you. We're here for each other.

John

Sue-Great news. Congratulations.

Mick-Keep us posted. You're in the right spot.

Fox-Have you posted your MRI results? I've been looking and either missed them or you still haven't opened that envelope?!?!?!
