Hi I just recently started taking Temozolomide and doing radiation for the brain tumor. Its a grade 2 and I don't know much about it. Its on my optical pathways and its a very rare type. does anyone have any information that can help me on how to deal with this. I don't know much about it but what the doctors told me, I started Temsirolimus through IV last week and don't know what to think. Has anyone else gone through the Temsirolimus meds? My doctor told me to get on here to this website cause he said I'll see I'm not alone. I don't have much family or support so I kinda get that feeling I am sometimes. Most days I get up and keep fighting cause I think I have to sometimes I don't want to but I don't think I have a choice but to fight. Its hard though really hard. Especially since I don't know much about cancer, or Diffuse Astrocytoma. Any and all info and anything will be much appreciated. Thank you so much =) have a good day.

Cali

    Been through a similiar situation.
I have a blog at http://www.edslas.blogspot.com . Here I discuss extensively my experience with radiation and chemotherapy on both physical and psychological levels. I hope it can help you. My personal contact info is there too if you have any specific questions. I do not have the same type of tumor, but it is a diffuse astrocytoma near my optical pathway - in the occipital and partial lobe.
