Tomorrow I go in for my annual mammogram on the right healthy side. I am half expecting the usual "we need a few closer images" (15 more times)....but secretly am hoping they get the results much smoother this time. No shadows, no areas of concern or changes. My prayer is always that God would reveal anything that needs to be seen. The anxiety is not so bad tonight, it may change in the morning tho as i head out.
I will be heading into my 5 yr. cancer free victory NED dance in Feb 2013.

    And I'm smiling real big as I read all your posts and good wishes!! I still am a little shocked that I got in & out (like a burger) with get this...only 2 films taken. Only 2!!!
    The tech came down the hall all smiles and said great news~all clear~see you in a year!
    I hugged her, thanked her, and whispered a prayer of thanks~♥ I definitely felt you all around me, and will keep that bus rollin' for the next appt. for the next pink sister for saturday!
    I celebrated with fresh cut flowers and a huge pink strawberry filled cupcake! ( I hear you saying "what? no new purse?")

    Are you sure that was a mammography machine today, and not some sort of personality transplant/body-snatching experiment? At any time while your boob was being smashed, did you happen to hear a voice say, "Take me to your leader"?

    Whoever you are -- be sure to tell Melanie how happy we are for her good results, and to get her little green-eyed behind out there and get some chocolate and a new purse, for heaven's sakes!

    and Traci, I just bought a new handbag a month ago.....so told myself I would wait a bit....and you know me, c'mon...I have been hiding chocolate in my "you~know~what drawer" and eating it on a shall we say... "regular" basis.
    I shall wait till Macy's has Septembers one day sale....and perhaps a "belated" purse celebration! (wink~wink). The cupcake caught my eye, and my mind was taken away~not by calgon, but by sugar!!
    Hugs pinks~ I see the breast surgeon in Sept to follow up the mammo, and hear her good words of wisdom.
