I took my first round of taxol/casplatin today. Back the next three days for fluids and anti-nausea meds. (first recurrence) Last year I had taxol/carbo/avastin. It's only 6:30. Is it too early to go to bed? :) It gets dark around 8:15 now. I think I will probably be in bed very early tonight, at least based on how I feel now. Carla |

So glad you got the first one behind you. I hope and pray the next five go smoothly, with little side effects.

Yeah! So glad you have the fiRst one done. I also was supposed to go back for fluids 2 days post chemo round. However I dicsovered I could have the hoitals's home health bring the bags of saline to me on the last day of the round to the infusion center for me.
They left my port accessed and I woul drip the fluids in on my own for 2 sometimes 3 days later. This saved me trips to infusions center . Home health showed me how to do this. It was easy. Just wanted to mention this to you in case you got too weak to travel back so much.;)
