First recurrence treatment?

Hi Ladies,

I meet with my oncologist tomorrow to discuss his treatment plan. After nine months of complete remission, I have my first recurrence. I was first diagnosed in May '11. What drugs have any of you had for recurrence? Wonder if I will be given carbo/taxol/avaistan again? I'm just frustrated, discouraged, and scared.

Normal feelings

I had Carbo /Taxol again...then next reoccurrence was Cisplatin/Gemzar for four tx because number went up...now back on Carbe/Taxol again. Feeling sad and scared is normal....we are. Human I guess...so it is time to kick butt....Val

I have my first recurrence

and I am taking Tamoxifen. That is what my surgeon recommended, and my oncologist concurred. My son and I met with the oncologist and decided to try this option. If it doesn't work I will have chemo. I don't know which one. I am feeling okay but just trying to take it one day at a time. As I have said it is the unknown that gets to me.
