persistance..sometimes needed

in Head and Neck Cancer #1
I posted about an issue I had with my oncologist. I was so flabergasted with what they said, I was unable to think clearly. Today I called them back, remarked that I had done a online app., for Mayo. And then I asked the nurse to ask the dr. for the exact TEST or TESTS results the dr. was using to confirm the pressure and occular nerve changes had nothing to do with my specific cancer. She said she would call me back. In about 20 minutes she called back and said the doctor had ordered all the tests. I'm glad today my clarity on wording questions properly was intact. There are days with my condition, the words don't come out right. Also helps mayo is now connected with coborns. Just a note to myself....take a breath, and always get the answers we deserve.

    Hi all !
    Yeap I guess upset about sums it up. After listening to all your posts I am more than determined to make the fight count. I will continue to find the answers and treatments I need and deserve to meet NED with a huge smile. I was caught up in quality of life issues...because of my moms journey that stunk. Man, I know you all don't realize how brave and inspiring you are ! Thank you. And when I falter as I know I will...please remind me the trip is well worth the ride. Katie
