a few weeks ago. Thankfully missed all bad weather. A few side trips planned - Wilkes Barre, Rochester - but nothing else planned until Labor Day, camping on Lake Ontario. And Hershey PA!!! with the Pink Ladies.
Yesterday, for the first day I can remember, I did Nothing!!! Just had a lazy day, didn't go anywhere, didn't visit anybody, didn't cook or clean. Hurray for Lazy Days! Now, that's a vacation.
If any of you are visiting Cooperstown - I'm a half hour away. PM me!!

Disney world is so much fun no matter what age. I am glad you got to go Denise. When my husband and I have been, we feel and act like little kids. lol So much fun!

I went to Dallas last month for 5 days. It was for a Premier Designs Jewelery Convention. Didn't have much down time but it was nice to get away with some other gals. Hubby and I need to take a vacation, havent been on one in a long, long time. We need a cruise or a trip to Italy.

As some of you know, we just got back a few weeks ago from being gone, traveling all over the US and had the time of our lives. We acted and felt like kids dating again as we just relaxed, didn't care or worry about anything and had fun! It was so good for the inner soul of both of us.
It would be fun to have others that posted here tell about their vacations. I hope more will.

I am newly dx, so I won't be going on any vacations for the rest of this year nor early next year.....BUT I AM planning to attend my in-laws 50th wedding anniversary next november in disneyworld :)

I've always worked full time. This summer has been wonderful only working part time! I have been able to care for my kids and husband..I sure go through a lot of gas though,,,being taxi mom.

December, 2011 I went to Mission Texas ( southern edge, 3 miles from the Mexican border) and stayed with my Dad and step mom in their winter home. Went to Mexico and south padre island. January 2012 I took my 23 year old daughter and my 18 year old son on an 8 day vacation of a lifetime to beautiful Cancun. March 2012 I went to Arizona. This past week I went to Colorado springs, Pikes Peak International Hill Climb where I spent over 20 hours over 13,000 feet up, watched the sun come up, the race, and the sun go down, it was a piece of heaven up there:-). Then I went to Iron Maiden in Denver at the comfort dental amphitheater, amazing show!! I refuse to let cancer stop me from seeing what I want to see, I load up all my meds, take good care of myself, be careful, and live :-) I remind myself that I have cancer, but cancer doesn't have me.

just got back from camping foe a week in Va Beach..it was a great trip...rained 2 times..down pour but short lived..
did our first Dolphin watch out at sea (they actually swam by our beach where we were swimming..soo coooool)

I love dolphins! My hubby and I have even swam with them on a vacation to Mexico! It is one of the most amazing things we've ever done!

We just got back from the Catskills, Adirondacks and 1000 Islands in New York State. It rained on us for the first couple of days but after that the weather was great.

My Brother is doing good. He lives near Houston and they moved into a single story house because he really was having issues climbing the stairs. He is 10 years older than me. He still is playing golf and loves riding around in his golf cart.

All of your vacations that you've been on and are still going to go on sound like so much fun! I think I will have to figure out a way to sneak into all of your suitcase's. LOL
