Tomorrow I have my PET scan after 5 months of Faslodex injections and Zometa infusions for newly diagnosed bone mets. I'm not gonna lie--I've got the jitters. Good scenario--stable. Great scenario--diminished bone mets. This treatment is very tolerable and my med. onc. said that if it works, I would be able to be on it for a very long time.

So, gimme all ya got, girls--prayers, positive energy, whatever you can send to hot, sunny Phoenix would be greatly appreciated.

    Renee it just doesn't feel like 5 months have passed...I so clearly remember your posts when the mets were found. (I would be taking some ativan about now.)

    I'm going to bring some happy dance music, cuz we'll all need to celebrate when the doc says "stable" or "getting smaller"!!

    Renee, you know I will be there with bells on. Well, maybe not actual bells. I will, however, bring a pitcher of margaritas in anticipation of a good/great report from the radiologist. I suggest warning the imaging facility of the imminent arrival of the Pink Bus. Last time it showed up for me the police were called on a noise complaint.

    I doubt you're drinking much
    these days, or maybe you're drinking more:), but as I recall, your cocktail choice is Lemon Drop martinis so no brownies tomorrow, just martinis.

    I am aboard the pink bus for you Renee! I've got the croissants, homemade jelly and even a few calorie filled donuts. I will brew some fresh coffee in the morning and have it nice and hot and ready incase some of the sisters ( no names ) are still half asleep. lol
