Adenocarcinoma non-small cell Stage 3 unoperable, 3 tumors in upper right lobe, going in tomorrow for EBUS then should start Radiation and Chemo sometime in the next few weeks. Pet scan showed that all the cancer appears to be isolated in the right lung, nothing in my other organs or bones. Dr's at Northwestern described exactly on a chart what is going on and how they will proceed. They will take out the right lung once the tumors have been shrunkdown in size. I have one small tumor about 1 1/2cm attached to a lympnode in my trachia that concerns them. Now its wait and see what happens next.

Sorry to read ur post. I'm new to this site. On 1/9/12 I went to the ER with abdominal pain and I was sent for a Ct-scan which revealed a nodule on my left lower lung. Had Pet-scan last tuesday which also confirmed the left lung but hidden is a small nodule on my right lung. Going for surgery tomorrow morning to have the left nodule removed n biopsied right there and then. So, it's a waiting game now. I'm not familiar with these terminology Ex: EBUS but I will keep you in my prayers.
