Laurissa update

in Breast Cancer #1
So sorry i haven't been posting,I guess I'm in my own world of depression...my sister Laurissa is in her own as well !!! She has been getting chemo every two weeks are so when blood levels allow. Dr. say her liver is doing better and will have another scan in march to confurm how things are doing.She is so sick from chemo,shots, meds. etc.etc.as you all well know,I can only emagine what you all have to go though. Her appetite is nil,she just isnt eating,but drinks alot of insure or juice...has lost alot of weight.Is in bed most of the time, she is taking meds.for depression ..besides cancer she has alot more on her plate. Her husband is back to work ,but not for long, will be layed off next month, then insurance will stop...bills are stacking up, etc. etc...i think she is giving up,tells me she is just tired of it all!!!I feel so bad for her and don't know what to do but pray for her. sbmly53 sent me a privet message ,i sent her my home address so she could send laurissa a card. If any one else wants it send me a privet message and I will send my address your way.Maybe it will cheer her, I'm so thankful you all keep her in your prayers,she just doesn't get on this site to much any more...she is so weak she said her legs fell like rubber, the shot after chemo zaps her...I don't know what the future holes,But I know who holes the future...so it's to HIM I am praying to make this journey as easy on her as possiable, I can't stand seeing her like this, I feel so helpless!!! sorry for misspellings and not posting as often as I should, and please let pink kari09 know about Laurissa and we are praying for her and all on this site.     Wow...
    Poor sweet Lourissa, our bodies can only take so much and she will know when it's time to quit struggling. She is a very brave and strong woman and my heart aches for her right now. I wish there was something more I could be doing then offering just my prayers.

    Thank you for the update, we have been wondering. I am sorry you are in such a tough spot and Laurissa is so weak. Will continue to pray for you all.

    see we have been very worried about our dear Sister in PINK, Laurissa. I am sadden
    by all the pain, and stress breast cancer has imposed on both you, Laurissa and her
    family. I can not even begin to imagine what you all are going thru on a daily
    basis.

    I wish I had the insight, or information to make life a little easier for Laurissa --
    I do not -- so I pray for strength, health and courage. Cathy -- continued strength for
    you dear one, as well.

    Kathy, thank so much for updating us on Laurissa's condition. I am very sorry that she is going through this and now her husband will lose his job again. I can't imagine the stress she is under.

    Please tell her I love her and hug her big from me.
