Hiya! Sounds like your Team has a severe case of CYAS ('Cover Your Donkey Syndrome, ;).
Stop worrying; you are a tough one!
Cheers

(PS: I would suggest that you only tell the fish story to people that love you no matter what...)

As soon as I have one, you will be among the first to know. Thanks for caring. It means a lot.

In the meantime, in the words of the great philosopher Alfred E. Neuman, "What? Me Worry?"

Take care, my friend,

Joe

Hi Joe, I went thru this same thing. ct-scan 12/07/11 Onco man calls next day saying pneumonia, calls in rx for antibiotics as he is going out of town. Next ct-scan 1/04/12 see onco man 1/11/12 -- no change in scans. Could be the cancer is back but says not certain, has me see my Pulmanologist for his opinion and if i need scoped. I see Dr. on 1/16/12 looks over ct-scans...... Scar tissue!!! wants me to have another ct-scan in 6 months. Go back to Onco man 2/15/12 ... still a nervous wreck. I hope your results come out the same..... Stay well ... Dan (and out of trouble too)

Best wishes, Dan. After all of this time, I am NOT a nervous wreck and that is probably my main concern: that I am either inured to it or resigned to it.

In any event, sounds as though you have things going in the right direction, guessing-wise, from the professionals. Let's hope that it stays that way!

Take care,

Joe

Not exactly sure what I want to say about this. I kinda wish you would get a new onco man. Why would anyone want someone who is only concerned with CYA. I would much rather they cover my A.

Take care Joe. They are watching small nodules in me too. We'll be ok, I am sure of it.

cathy, I think what wife is trying to impart to me is that they have no idea right now and, based on a rather dire previous speculation, they are going to go the extra mile to assure the final dx is more or less correct :).

Perhaps as a veteran now I am becoming a cynic.

In any event, I wish you the very best with your own situation. And I like your confidence :)

Hope and Humor!

Take care,

Joe
